.hack//Infection is definately fun to play. It has a really interesting story and if you like the anime version the stories pull together really well. That being said, the game can get a little bit repetitive, especially if you play the later versions as well. The computer set-up that the game is based around is interesting and also gives some fun extra options to the game, like an ability to e-mail your party members in their 'real' lives. Not having to really deal to much with money to get items, almost everything is trades, has it's good points and bad points as well. The graphics are about average and the cut scenes are fun because the game was anime first and it shows in the way the story is told. The battles involve having to actually pay attention as apposed to mostly button pushing and they aren't turn based, so you don't necessarily have to deal with a lot of menus unless you need to order around your party members. Another slightly annoying option is that you aren't able to change your party members equipment. You are able to give them gifts of equipment and they will equip it if it has better stats, but in this game that isn't always a good thing. In general this is a fun game and you have to think about strategy and pay attention to what you are doing, you even have some free will because you can create infinate dungeons to explore, but it is a bit repetitive and won't necessarily appeal to everyone.
