at last! Quantum of.... scratch that,Casino Royale fans can finally replay their favorite moments that was in the movie!
From what I've heard the game uses on the Call of Duty 4 engine. It looks great actually. Especially in a level where it rains (you literally see how the rain splashes on your gun). Bond looks great too,you can really see that its Daniel Craig and the other characters look also like their actors.
The gunfights are quite exciting, the ai flanks you, they take cover, throw grenades towards you and the cover system the game forces you to use is good. But you MUST use the cover system,if you duck behind something, you will most likely die (which is a bit irritating).
If your wondering how good the story is,well, forget it.The story feels disjointed because the game turns into Casino Royale after the first few levels. This gets kind of frustrating because you payed for Quantum of Solace, not for Casino Royale.
Even though the whole game is Casino Royale (except the last and first two or three levels after the first one). Its still fun,but there are certain things that just doesn't work out in the game.
For instance, there is a takedown system,it is mainly trial and error, sometimes you do it right and the game sees it wrong and as a result, you get some lead in your head. The game also has scenes that just doesn't work, because you either get stuck or somehow lose the path you were following.
The game also has places where you can use stealth, but it is disappointing. Because almost every time you try to be stealthy,it usually ends in a huge gunfight. Most of the bossfights are played out with the takedown system,it looks cool, that is,if you can get it right.
The game has multi-player,but because the game uses that plague called "Windows Live" I didn't try it.
Final word:
Although the game has exciting gunfights, good graphics and great weapons and alot of cinematic scenes. The game has "Windows Live",it also has scenes that just aren't fun. and well,it could have been better.
I suggest you rent it first.
