A good game that mixes third and first person shooting well, a few kinks rob this game of being perfect

First let's look at all the things this game does right. It mixes 3rd and 1st person shooting wonderfully. The multiplayer rarely ever freezes up on my bad wireless connection.

There are many other good things about the game, the stealth missions are rewarding when you don't break stealth and unlike the ps2 version, you don't have to start the whole level over if you break stealth.

The multiplayer is fun and really tests your skill, it can become annoying when some obsessive nerd comes along and snipes you with a p99 (basic handgun) while your in cover.

The story mode is okay but they could of made the transition to Casino Royale a lot lot smoother. I would of liked it if the chase scenes were a little more fast paced, in the Mitchell chase scene (QoS) I actually forgot what the actual mission was about because I was so busy trying to earn the trophy for that level, it took me 45 minutes to complete what should have been a chase scene.

The artwork is pretty good and the environment is really stunning at some points (I mean that in the bad and the good way) The venice level (CR) is beautiful and portrays the city nicely, while the eco hotel level dosn't seem to have and real scenery, just a few garages where the goal is quite simple, stay alive.

There are just a few things that upset me quite a lot, one of these is how long it takes to switch weapons, a minor seeming problem at first but in the last few levels when you need a new weapon and you're facing 60 men in the same room, who are stronger then you, it's comforting to know when you run out of ammo for one gun, you can switch to another, but you get cut down in the time it takes to stop shooting and switch weapons.

The one-man army thing is still a little cheesy, I can kind of understand it in a stealth sense, but if Bond is fighting a hired army and winning, he needs to find better uses of his time.

It is about as good as the original Goldeneye but it comes no where near surpasing it, a good Bond game that could have been more if it had shaken off the movie license.
