Bond has had many a Game carry the burdon of his name. Many a success, many a failure, but unlike other previous games, Quantum dosnt try to reinvent the genre or change what we love about 007 Games, instead it takes the old, with new graphics, new updated equipment, and a new storyline and creates Goldeneye for the 21st century. Featuring many old friends such as the Golden Gun and bringing new styles of gameplay like Bond Vs to Multiplayer, its certainly a Ambitious game but does what it set out to due.

Quantum is not a game to wow the FPS community, its not like the release of Call of Duty 4, or Far Cry 2. Its just an updated classic and its feels right at home with the older gamers.

The story is a take of both Quantum of Solace with Casino Royale Flashback missions. It stays true to the film while still creating moments for gun-play and MI-6 action. Not entirely concerent with the film but this is a good thing as we all saw the film and want something new but familiar.

As people will tell you, the games real Shinedown is the Multiplayer with classic team vs team and a new mode, Bond Vs, where one player is sent against a team of Insurgents. It may seem strange and unbalanced but it works pretty well, more than expected.

So for any Goldeneye fan of old or newer fans of of later releases like Double Agent. Its a must play.
