This is a disappointment. People can expect to grow tired of the monotony and the lack of excitement.
The controls, for example, are difficult to master. The configuration is not the default expected for a racing game and thus people are likely to grow frustrated, attempting to figure out which button does what. The manual is not much help either. Whilst attempting to find out how to change the configuration, I got lost on the menu and had to suffer with the confusing controls. This was a disappointment.
The graphics are much the same as the controls; a disappointment. Whilst this is quite an old game and there isn't much in the way of expectations, the scenery could have done with a few tweaks and improvements. The focus was more upon the trucks and than the scenery and the roads. This is a racing game, we do need to know where we are going!
The timing system is quite peculiar. For a racing game, I would've expected to be racing other trucks, not racing against the clock. Whilst it is unusual and it may have worked under better conditions, it failed. Miserably. The timing was inaccurate. When you have finally figured out how to accelerate, you have lost fifteen or so seconds. You only have thirty! This is ridiculous.
In other respects, the game is simply a mockery of truckers. The characters are quite ridiculous, as though satirising them. There is a duel between good and evil which makes no sense in a racing game. For a challenge, this is the game but I wouldn't recommend it if you have a high temperament.
