blast from the past, over too soon!

yeah, i have fond memories of this game from 20 years ago or so, i dont remember how long its been, so i was pretty excited to check out an update... and over all im happy i purchased this game, it looks great and has a very nostalgic feel to it. Unfortunately it just doesnt last that long, with only 5 levels and really no extras or unlockables, once you play through it a couples of times, theres not much else to do with it. It felt more like a demo to me and not a full game which is why i only gave it a 7.
graphics: 8 ( a nice update, not mindblowing, but decent for this type of game)
gameplay: 8 (controls work great, simple pick up and play, dodge bullets and shoot stuff down, not much else to it)
sound: 7 (it works, no annoying sounds which is a plus)
replay value: 3 ( once you finish it once, twice, maybe 3 times, no real reason to play it again)
fun value : 8 ( its a fun short lived experience, reminded me of when i was 10 and loving this game)
overall: 7

    Its a short game with a lot of fun with a friend if you enjoyed the original.
