24 The Game is great, provided you're a fan of the show. In terms of the actual gameplay, 24 is a mixed bag, but it's presentation is amazing.

The story in 24 The Game has a story similar to that of the shows. There's plenty of twists and turns and by the end of the day (the game) you'll realized that you have done a ton of stuff (but I won't spoil anything here.) Most of the shows characters that were in seasons 2-3 will be in this one as well as a few new characters and the story in this game proves to both be original and fills up some gaps in the story between the two seasons. The story is easily one of the best parts of this game.

The gameplay is a mixed bag. There are shooting, sniping, driving, on-foot chasing, stealth and interrogation sequences as well as mini-games that will pop up frequently when the desk workers at CTU are trying to uncover encrypted information, or you're diffusing bombs. These sequences all happen pretty seemlessly which is pretty cool, but the problem is, not all of them are too much fun. The shooting and sniping missions are pretty good, you get a rediculously massive arsenal and all of the guns seem different in certain ways. You can also pin-point target (like Resident Evil 4) so depending on where you shoot a guy, they react differently to their wound. The sniping missions will just be your regular shooting gallery missions but still offer tons of simplistic fun. The interrogation sequences are also great, a lot of tention can build in them because the clock is ticking and you sometimes have to deal with some very ornery people. But, the driving, chasing and minigame sequences don't work so well. The car controls aren't very good and you get too big of an enviornment to drive around in considering you just have to get to one point in all the driving missions and have a time constraint (most driving missions will give you an area as big as any free-roaming game.) The on-foot chases are pretty stupid because its not entertaining to try to follow someone using the basic controls and with no real obstacles at all. Finally, the mini-games are a little too complicated for their own good, but at the same time, offer very little instruction.
Another interesting thing about 24 The Game is (as I've mentioned before) there's a time constraint, but unlike other games it's pretty generous and actually helps build up the game's tension and makes for a better all around experience and atmosphere.

The graphics in 24 are pretty good. The models look great and actually look very much like the actors. The game also features some pretty good graphical effects, but it suffers from low-resolution textures and a few graphical glitches.

The sound quality is awesome. All the actors lend their voices as well as a few other well-known actors who haven't even been on the show before. The music is also just as great as the score from the TV show. I did notice a lot of repeated sounds and downright bad sound effects.

24 The Game is pretty long clocking in at around 24 hours but there's a TON of bonus material made up of interviews with the cast to watch. Provided you're a fan of the show (such as I) the presentation and story of 24 The Game are outstanding. The sound quality is great too but there are a few problems with both it and the graphics department, but the gameplay seems too offer almost too much for it's own good as it seems the developers got too focused on some aspects of it and didn't pay enough attention to the others.
