It's Bejewel, That's it. You are going to play bejewel if you buy this game, nothing more to see here.
The game attempts to present you with a sort of story game play mode but fails miserably. You get to play in eight different scenarios that represent the construction of the seven wonders of the worlds. Each scenario has about eight levels in which you get to play bejewel, nothing more nothing less than bejewel. The big idea with the game play is that as you line up the jewels in the game play grid they destroy the grid in which the lay releasing construction materials for the wonder you are currently building. The game play is very frustrating making you finish the grid before a timer runs out making it even more frustrating when the game does not give you the jewels you need to finish the grid. You have several attempts or lives at this before is game over, if you fail you have to start the whole scenario which just adds insult to frustration.
Along with the story mode you have other game modes which include free play and rune quest. Free play is obvious and in rune quest you basically can play any level you have unlocked…Yay! In 7 Wonders everything is easily forgetful the music
(you will be playing with the sound turned off) and of course the graphics too since it is a game that really does not depend that much on graphics…hey its bejewel.
As I said if you want to play bejewel this is the game for you and even if I was just rating tha game for its bejewelness it would barely get a 7 out of 10. As the GS review says (or somebody's review) your best bet is Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the war lords.
