Good, but suffers from its predecessors.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is a very solid successor to the Ace Attorney series. Those who have loved the serie up to now will love this one too, but those who have shunned the serie will not be tempted to pick this one up. The story is great and the cast of characters is still memorable. Long time fans will alternatively squeal and groan upon recognizing those many familiar faces. Some will deplore that Miles Edgeworth never actually goes to court in this opus, but considering the role that prosecutors have always been given in the Ace Attorney serie, the choice is understandable. What is disappointing is that the games innovates very little compared to the others, especially Apollo Justice. The tactile screen is barely used; it is probably possible to finish the game without touching it once. In that sense, Miles Edgeworth seems to regress compared to some of the other recent games. Also, repetition is beginning to be felt. How many time did the "he held the gun / wrote the name of the killer with his right hand but he is actually left-handed" was used in the serie? Or "the body was moved; this is not the actual scene of crime" ? Although it makes this game feel like déjà-vu, it is not really this particular game's fault; that is how the Ace Attorney serie has always been. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is a very good game and followers of the serie will keep following, but the creators should be careful not to let the recipe get stale.
