“Ace Combat 2” was a great flight simulator game when it was released in 1997. “Ace Combat 2” corrected the problems inherent in its predecessor, "Air Combat."

This game made use of realistic aircraft, and the missions revolved around destroying enemy resources, to include aircraft, naval vessels, and radar sites. The large play areas, and free range of motion of the aircraft made this game a lot of fun.

“Ace Combat 2” secured the future of this franchise through the utilization of numerous aircraft and many enjoyable missions. While future releases would offer more, and would ultimately be more fun, “Ace Combat 2” was a really good game in its time.
