The Best in the Ace Combat Series so far.

Ace Combat 5 takes place not too many years in the future and in a fantasy country. You start out as a wingman and end up becoming captain of your squad. Unlike Ace Combat 04 the story in this game directly involves your character as the game progresses. Realistic factors like Wingman control, answering Ally pilots' questions, and in-flight briefings give the game a whole new feel. A downside to this game to me is the fact that you can no longer refuel, and reload your weapons in the middle of a mission. This can make it very hard to complete a mission when you run out of ammo in the sky. But overall the game is fun to play and never gets too hard or too easy.
