This game is a DLC trap.

I am a huge fan of the Ace Combat series however this one was pretty disappointing to say the least. First off, this is the only Ace Combat to be released exclusively for the 360. Hmmm I wonder why they would do that being that all the previous games were released under Sony???

In this case it is all about money. They made this game exclusive for the xbox so they could rake in the money from the ridiculous amount of DLC content for this game. I believe there are 75 different downloads, the majority of which you have to purchase. For shame Namco Bandai for shame...

Not only that but even if you do purchase all of the DLC you are still left with less planes then in previous games and a shorter campaign as well.

The game definitely looks the best in the series but that is to be expected. It is still a fun game but you can tell that they did not put the effort into this one. What happened to the Ace Combat 5 dev team?
