The game itself is awesome as far as a "free game" goes. The flight characteristics given to each aircraft is incredible down to what fuel tank to drain first for maximum stability. The graphics are a bit out dated but are beefed up somwhat by an optional hi-rez texture pack to download. The mulitplayer experience makes up for this by providing multiple HUGE maps with hundreds of people to fly with. Most are dedicated players who organize missions and squads that promote teamwork. This is good, because flying alone, you are as good as dead. Usually, people are more than willing to help out those with little flight experience. An integrated voice system makes communtication simple. Dogfighting and typing is next to impossible. It's easy just to scream out for a "clear my six" call. The only complaint is the contol set up. It's a bit difficult to map keys and to get them calibrated to your liking. Once you figure it out, everything is great. If you like flight sims and MMOG's, give it a try, the game and first two weeks of server acess are free.
