A game that's like a walk through of events of what has happened in WWII
Game just as any other games out there it has some good & bad points we'll go through all of them 1st we tackle the good points of the game, Good points of this game is that it shows you the time of events during World War II from the date that the war started of until it ended; I also double checked the series of events written or included in the game & most of them are accurate they're taken from the history but there are some events that aren't on the history books though some of them are not actually or maybe included but I didn't manage so find them but they're just minor details, the major details of the history are there. There are 40 world renowned aircrafts for you to unlock some of which are the Zero, Spitfire, Bf109, MiG-15 & many more also full specs on all the planes are well-detailed for easy reference & when you need to know what specific plane that suits you. The aircrafts are showcased in a rectangular hangar which is divided into two just press square & it will bring you to the bombers hangar. And now the bad points there are these English translation issue that the game is badly ported to English there are some parts of the script that you wouldn't understand & will leave you to say what? & then ........ end. It's a little bit frustrating that you wouldn't get to understand the full story of a certain event. Also the terrain of the game is a little of the board they are not well detailed & sometimes they seemed flat from afar but you wouldn't be always looking on the terrain are you?
The Gameplay:
It's rather harder than you think, the game could be a little tough for those who are new to Dog-fighting games as a I am too have a little hard time to get used to the controls but when you do the game will be really fun for you to play. The Dog-fights are really intense even if your used to its really fun if your into Dog-Fighting the old way as there are no guided missiles here you have to chase your target & get a perfect aim then ripped his plane into pieces you get to experience what to WWII pilots have experienced during the war & for those who really what to feel that turn off the target icons & find you target manually like the old days of the war careful as you might hit your ally. You can choose between the cockpit mode & the chase view though I didn't get to check all of the planes cockpits most of the planes that are checked are pretty decent although there not fully detailed just as the real aircraft they only placed the gauges that you will need to operate the plane properly. Sometimes it's really annoying when the plane that you're chasing just circles around you leaving you in the middle of the circle swirling & would sometimes get you dizzy just to kill that single plane. In each missions if have unlocked ample of planes you are given a privilege to change your aircraft that you are familiar with to any aircraft that you've unlocked giving a slight advantage over the enemy. The game also has a slight realistic feel giving you the command of the forces acting on an airplane like yaw, bank & pitch with the use of Rudders, Ailerons, Flaps, Elevators & in some the Spoilers to slow your plane a little giving full control the of plane,
The Verdict:
I would recommend this game for those who are into WWII Dog-Fighting games but I wouldn't recommend this game if your not a usual player of this genre as it will extremely hard for a beginner, rent it first or try other games of this genre before you try this game. It has the famous aircrafts of WWII ranging from Fighters to Bombers of the nations that participated the WWII. Its a Good game but there are still minor flaws in this game.
