For a duel genre game, Act Raiser was well developed for its time and provided a mixture of content, both light and intense. Although you won't spend too many hours on it, and the replay value is very little to none, the experience itself is worth playing the game alone. Despite some grammatical errors here and there (probably due to imperfect translation), the story carried itself well, and had a fairly philosophical ending. I would recommend this to any 2D platformer fan looking for a solid gaming experience with a good, somewhat relaxing, twist and a story with good morals and a drive to keep you playing. Definitely a classic worth playing through at least once.
