Like the first, with minor improvements. Which is a good thing.
Just like the first, the graphics are nothing special,
until a battle commences.
Also just like the first game: The main characters are appealing, although a little limited in personality. The dialogue is, once again remarkably cheerfull regarding the fact they are at war.
The battles do seem to play on a larger scale.
It is still a great fit for a portable, as it is a laid back kind of game.
The diversity of troops as you progress through the game, coupled with new characters (each with their own unique skill) adds to a feeling of progress as you march on. It's just too bad the story still isn't any better.
The new characters are a welcome addition, as are the new troops - but actually bring only limited diversity to the game.
This doesn't matter though, as the first one was already great to begin with.
