This is a game, that I didn't know too much about and I was interested in trying something new for the Gameboy Advance. My friend kept telling me, "just buy the game, you won't regret it." Eventually of course I bought the game. At first I found it mediocre. Probably because I was getting beat in every game that I played. However I stuck with it and played through the campaign and I am glad I did. I must warn you now, that this game gets very addicting. The game provides a good size campaign mode in which you work through a "story more" trying to defend off the Black Hole Army in each country. If the campaign isn't big enough for you there are a ton of extra maps to play on which challenges you to come up with a different strategy every time. Even with all the maps the game still comes with a Design feature that allows you to create your own map. The nice thing about this game is that you can play it casually or you can make it as deep as you want it. These are my thoughts on the technical aspects of this game. The graphics are bright, with limited animation. There's nothing really there to shun you away, but the graphics are nothing groundbreaking either, nor do they have to be. I think my only complaint about the game would be in the sound/music department. It would have been nice to have a bit more variety. After all is said and done, I see why people consider this game a "must have" for anyone’s GBA library.
