I bought this game 2 years ago. I have taken breaks from playing it, but just like fire emblem it is addictive and has almost unlimited replay value. the graphics are decent, but the battle animations are great, especially with mech units. i never really care about sound for game boy games, so ill say it is decent. the gameplay, however, is amazing. the tutorial makes it easy to get into and the difficulty quickly ramps up from there. however, once you figure out the perfect tactics to use, you can dominate anyt mission. except of course for the green earth mission sea fortress. skip it at all cost!!! one complaint is that its too easy to just crank out tanks and rockets and wipe the floor with those units. the developers should work on balancing the units out more for the game after dual strike, since it has the same problem. the story is standard stuff. i played through the story about two years ago so i honestly dont remember too much about it. all in all, this game wouldn't feel right on a home console, but with its simplistic designs on the GBA, it becomes an instant classic.
