I used to not like turn-based stratagy at all. i got this game as a gift for X-mas in 2003 and wasn't to sure about it. i decided to try it out and, ill admit, it impresed me. everything about the game was great, except the the sound. that ws a little iffy. besides that, GREAT! there were plenty of CO's to choose from. well once you unlocked them anyway, but that was the fun part of it. the amount of units you could use was awesome. there were tons of them. Troops, recons, tanks of various sizes, aircrafts, and battle ships. there were many kinds of eack classification of units as well. each one also had there advantages and disadvantages. the troops are the only ones that can capture buildings, so to me they were the ones you had to protect. If you dont like being on the defencive then you can obviously go on the offencive. just buy a lot of tanks and missile launching vehicles and go destroy every enemy unit on the map. The story was well put together and is easily followed. It accually makes you want to read it and not just skip to the next mission. sometimes if you listen to the dialoge close enough, the characters tell you hints to beating the next level, or how to unlock the devistating NEO-TANKS. there are also pros and cons to using certian characters. some COs can and can't make certian units. they also have there own special ability. The color and graphics and very good for a GBA game that i've seen anyway. the little battle scene that pops up when you attack is very cool and looks awesome. I definitally recomend at least playing this game!!!
