It seems as simple as Checkers but is more complex than Chess could ever be.

When I first saw screenshots of Advance wars, I thought "this will never work" it looked too simple and cartoony to be able to rival the likes of Alpha Centauri. But I was so wrong, below the cartoony colors and Anime charactors lies a very big, very complex stratagy game. There is tonnes to unlock, and a clever coins system so that you can choose what to have next. The multiplayer is great, with fog of war on, passing one gameboy around really works. The campaign is pretty long too, and the missions are as varied as they can be without breaking the dynamic. And aside from a small bit of dodgy translation, its all really well presented. Trust me, you will enjoy this, even if sometimes you want to throw it through a window!
