Being a big Agatha Christie fan, I was really excited about this game when I first hear about it. However, since I was seeing mixed reviews about the game, I waited until it went on sale to buy it. I have to admit that I am really disappointed with it.
In contrast to the amazing book by Agatha Christie, the game's storyline seems lame and leaves out key elements from the original novel. The dialogues and voice acting (especially Poirot's accent) sound fake and superficial, and the gameplay mechanics are surprisingly slow and frustrating for a point and click adventure game.
The game offers a few good puzzles, but not challenging enough. If you enjoy playing P&C games where the combination of a padlock on a suitcase is written on it side, then give this game a try! I recommend downloading the demo first and seeing how you feel about the game, but be warned that the game gets more and more frustrating as you progress. I personally couldn't wait to get it over with.
