I was really very happy to hear the announcement in 2005 that they were making another game in the series. Although I didn't think it would live up to it's revolutionary predecessors. When I finally got the game in 2006, I was amazed at how right I was. The game definitely gets a 9 for graphics, but we all saw that coming when Age of Mythology came out. Now, to the point at hand; the game is great is its own respect, but I'm only giving it an 8.5 because I think it takes out some of the classic fun, meaning that guns and railroads weren't really part of empires. Ultimately, the game is pretty good for those who love the series.
