IGN nominee makes its way to PSP with a style!

First off, you have to say new London-based developer iSquared Games thanks for trying something totally different with this physics-based game. The ability of bashing your opponents with stonking big hammers, swords and maces while guiding a flying machine through the air is certainly amazing!

This games has its roots in PC game HammerFall that made a lot of noise at 2007 IGN (it was one of the best games that year!). The good thing is that this game is not a port, it only shares idea and art style of the original PC game, and that makes it perfect for hand-held console.

Hammer Wars has two main gameplay modes, Campaign and Free Mission. In Campaign mode, you follow the story of a young warrior called "Maleus" (which means "hammer" in Latin). You start in the village location, where you get a quick tutorial in how to whack seven bells out of the enemy with your hammer.
And the journey begins...
