Good
- Having Alan as the person who writes the story and the outcome of his own fate is a very unique way of telling the story
- The way they designed the enemies in a way that they can come at you at which ever angle is pretty fun. It makes the fights more suspenseful. The use of light as a weapon is also interesting.
- the dialogue is great. It's interesting just listening to people talk.
- the things you come across walking around in the game which give you more info about the place is pretty cool. Like the radio and TV.
- the setting is great, and just fits in with the vibe of the game.
- the areas are linear for the most part, but the little hidden stuff littered around makes the paths feel more open, and made me want to explore often.
- the characters are pretty interesting. They each have their role in the story, and it's interesting hearing what Alan thinks about them in his manuscript.
Bad
- The enemies were too repetitive, and the combat got repetitive. No bosses.
