Very few people know that Ali Baba was Pac-Man's borderline retarded cousin.
This apparently made 40 thieves very angry. So angry in fact that they decided to attempt to steal the money and put it back in the upper level. Ali Baba wasn't exactly fond of that plan. And thus a great and horrible battle begun. One that would become so legendary as to inspire it's own video game someday.
The forty thieves went quick to work sneaking behind walls and grabbing the bags of money with a huge "$" on them...this way they wouldn't be confused with other sacks laying around. Once they got the money they would try to run all the way back to the upper level. Emphasis on TRY. Little did they know that Ali Baba was there to eat pellets and kick butt...oh wait...this game doesn't have any pellets...which means he was just there to kick butt!!!
He would run around blinking madly, shouting wildly, and shaking his fist up and down. When he ran into a theif, he would punch him in the face, or squash him or something..and then the bag of money would magically be transported back to the lower level...it was the olden times....magic was everywhere. Plus, as he was running around, horrible sound effects and music was playing. It was so bad that it hurt peoples heads and ears....and that's why people became thieves..and why Ali Baba had a learning disability.
But despite the learning disability, Ali Baba went around squashing enemy after enemy...but there were 40...and they all looked alike. Apparently they were all brothers, or clones...or something..because they all looked like the exact same drug induced nightmare. All but one. A big red guy with a mouth the size of his body. No matter how hard Ali tried, he could not squash this one...instead, he was the one getting squashed. Squashed so hard that he shrunk and cried inside his big stupid red hat.
But then he would be back...again magic. And the whole damn thing would start all over again...until the 40 thieves were all squashed...and then it would start all over again after that.
So that's the story of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves. Luckily, the arcade game followed the legend perfectly. So if you want a game that is somewhat fun, looks and sounds like crap, but is educational...this game is where it's at.
