Alien Hominid HD is without a doubt one of the best Arcade titles to date. The fellows at Behemoth knew what they were doing when they went to the drawing board here. Alien Hominid HD combines a clever use of action, excitement, and humor for an exhilarating ride. As an alien who crashes to Earth, you have to elude various agencies in order to escape off the planet back to where ever you came from. The pace is pretty intense but you get an array of power ups as well as other fun combat moves at your disposal. You can also chose to have a friend join you on your alien adventure any time you wish(although I'm not sure where he comes from). Even though it can get pretty difficult at times the elements and core of this game is very addictive. So it has a high replay value as well as three different difficulty settings. Along with a pretty hefty story mode comes loads of mini games you can unlock through the story. Some of these mini games allow up to four players to join the fun. They range from a funny eating competition game to shooting a pinata for loot. I was also pleasantly surprised to find some customization in this game. You can unlock nifty hats(31 total) throughout the game. Again, I enjoyed some of the comical head wear to chose from. If you have a 360 you need to pick this one up! It comes with loads of replay value and you'll have a blast shooting em up! Great artwork. Great storyline. Great fun.
