Alien Incident is an "old-school" adventure game (think Lucas and Sierra) with a quirky setting and funny storyline. Like in many other adventure games, the protagonist of the game is a somewhat "simple" young man who unwillingly launches into an adventure, a victim of circumstance. This time, you have to discover what is going on around your little village regarding the recent arrival of some (another adventure favourite) aliens ! Somehow, your lunatic uncle of a professor (...) has his gloved fingers involved in all this as well.

The game sports good, atmospheric graphics, witty dialogues and some decent puzzles, that are not as hard as some Lucas Arts puzzles used to be, but still good enough to appeal to regular adventure gamers. And except one very annoying part towards the end of the game, which is kind of a "maze" puzzle, if managed to finish the game without looking up any hints or tips.

The game chases you through many interesting locations from a creepy old mansion, over a graveyard and even into a spaceship. The theme of the game is humours but still a bit spooky, the right balance.

I highly recommend this game for every adventure gamer !
