A lot of work went into Aliens: Colonial Marines. Gearbox and Sega spent 6 years working on this game, but real early it does not look like it. Of course no one has been pleased with any Alien project, movie or game, that takes place after Aliens. This is Fox's way of saying, "If you thought Alien Resurrection was bad, then take a load of another way we pour salt in the wounds of this already super **** up turkey." The graphics look choppy and the game's quality starts degrading before you even start playing. It's also plagued by hammy game play. You have to fight against mercenaries hired Weyland Utani during the second level. Seriously, at first it is an android that tries to kill everyone, then a corrupt business man, after that is just the xenomorphs, Resurrection had the decency of adding space pirates, and now guns for hires. What sci-fi franchise have we seen them in? I think James Cameron could answer that. No **** because it's Avatar. I only played until I barely got to Hadley's Hope and that was about two hours into the game. Even with Michael Biehn and Lance Henrickson reprising their roles from the movie Aliens: Colonial Marines from sucking.
