To start things off, the original AvP is not a game I have fond memories of, it was excessively monotonous and the lack of a save feature annoyed me to death. I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Most of the monotony is broken up, you get to play as the entire alien life cycle, and the mission structure nicely breaks up the monotony. However, the graphics disappoint slightly in being a little rough around the edges, and like most FPS games, this gave me severe nausea, so much so that i couldn't finish it. But it's still great, and even though it didn't have much of a story, was pleasantly interesting.
