I beg to differ Gamespot. The console version of Aliens vs. Predator is developer Rebellion's best in the series!

I'm not sure why Gamespot gave this game such a low rating, but Aliens vs. Predator is an EXCELLENT game. In a nutshell, solid, well-written storyline that will keep your attention to the end. Outstanding graphics that surpasses the PC versions by far. Awesome music and sound effects that will make you feel as if you are in one of the movies. And contrary to Gamespot, no bugs or glitches were encountered as I played through its awesome levels.

Now as for the gameplay, you get to choose at the beginning whether you want to be a Marine, Predator, or Alien. And since the game has three unique storylines, one of these will take center stage to conform to whichever character is chosen. The Marine storyline was my favorite, as that brought back strong memories of the films on which this game is based. But, the Predator, and Alien storylines were fun since they allowed me as the Predator, to hunt the Marines (i.e. wait till you see what the Predator does to the Marines), and the Aliens, or as one of Aliens, to hunt the Marines and the Predator.

All in all, Aliens vs. Predator for the console systems is by far, developer Rebellion's best in the series. They did an awesome job with it, and it shows throughout. Now I can only say so much in a review. This game needs to be bought and played to be experienced.
