I was so disgusted with this game the first time around, I got rid of it, only to pick it up again on Ebay for $32. The first time around, I did not give the hitting much of a chance. I think I was too caught up in all of the features this game has and did not concentrate on learning how to hit the ball. Once you get the hitting down, you should really have fun with this game. The presentation is obviously the best part of this game. I still get chills everytime I see Gherig and the Babe in the intro with the b/w footage. That's just stuff you would think you would never see. Then to have one of my favorite movies (The Natural) theme song play throughout the menus is just plain awesome. A feature that I would of never had thought would be in a game, the stadium tours, are an ingenious addition. Player cards, Trivia, HR Derby, and Pick-Up games are just some of the other extras to keep yourself occupied. The main part of the game, as with most baseball games, are the franchise/expansion modes. These modes are pretty self-explanatory and are incredibly deep. The thing that I like is that they included a ASB Rulebook that covers everything you can think of about the wheelings and dealings of baseball. It is really quite in-depth. The graphics, especially for the PS2, are not as clear as some of the other baseball titles, but they manage to get the job done. The sound is probably the worst part of this game. The crowd is literally not there. The announcers do a pretty good job for the most part. Presentation: 20/20 Graphics: 15/20 Gameplay: 16/20 Sound: 10/20 Features: 20/20 Overall: 81/100 = 81%
