Alone in the dark should have been amazing, but with the broken wii game play, it just doesn't stand up to the hype.

i only rented this game and played it for maybe a few hours and i could not progress. i believe that the design team for AITD had good intentions, but they were much too complicated. for instance it took me at least 5 times EVERY TIME to open my inventory and by then the zombies would kill me. i couldn't even figure out how to reload my gun. The story line is so-so it didn't really draw me in but that was most likely because i only played a few hours and was killed a bunch of times. With all the hype this game got, i really expected it to be a great game for wii... but all i can say is i sure am glad i didn't buy it. If you are looking for a good zombie game, try Resident Evil 4, much better story and game play. If you have other systems that alone in the dark can be played on, try those. They might be better. Over all this game was wayyyyy too confusing for me and only deserves a rental on another system
