It doesn't know whether it wants to be a first person or a third person game, the battle between 1st and 3rd is anoying!

Alright, I have been looking forward to this game alot, but when i finaly got around to getting it... what the hell were these guys thinking?

Sure, it looks great, story line is pretty good too, puzzles are challanging but not too hard, and the constantly changing envirements are just great, it makes the game comes alive. That enemies are immortal unless fought with fire is a bit anoying but alright, it does makes sense since you could slap them silly otherways so alright.

but the controls.. what the hell! a game should either be focused on 3rd person or 1st person, being able to switch between them is fine, probably even prefered, but stop forcing it!

espacialy since in 3rd person, the character becomes anoying to control, turning around is suddenly forced with the a and d keys instead of the mouse and turning is incredibly slow, making me want to play the entire game in 1st person... which it won't allow since if you want to bash something, 3rd person is your only option...

in 3rd person, your mouse is used to handle whatever is in your hands, like a chair or a fire extingisher, moving your mouse will change the stand with it, allowing you for it to position your weapon just right before attacking.
its such a shame that the chucky character controlls make this, otherways very creative fuature, just as anoying as the rest of the 3rd person controls,

in 1st person, it works much better, walking around feels more smoothly and doesn't let you scrape against walls, the game would be much better if you could fight with melee weapons in 1st person... but you cant...

this game could have been great, if the controls would be just as good as the rest of the game. unfortunatly.. the controls just ruin it...

would i recommend this game? yeah probably... about everything is quite good, graphics, sound, storyline, it has alot of interesting things in it, but you must be willing to deal with the crappy controlls, if you can overlook those, then your in for a unique gaming expierence
