Alpha Prime is a half decent FPS, its perhaps one of the most "middle of the road" games I've ever played. There's really nothing exceptionally bad or good about it. I've only played it for less than an hour, so take this review as you will. The gameplay is simple, run through a base and shoot stuff, collecting ammo, health packs and slow-mo enabling boosters. The AI is basic, responding immediately to your bullets and using some cover, you can expect them to rush you if you duck behind cover as well. The environments are interesting, even if most of that is because you can pick up almost anything and open lots of lockers looking for goodies. My one major complaint would be that the sound in cutscenes at times disappeared for certain actors, though its likely thats a compatability issue.
