Turn up the radio!

Intro: Gamespot is usually right on the money with most reviews, but after playing this game all the way through I can say that they missed the mark on this one.

Gameplay: I almost put the game away at first because I couldn't hit my targets even with a bullseye aim. I thought the reviews were probably right. However, I kept at it and I found that the more I played the better understanding I had. The more you level up the better it gets. The choices to approach missions are fun. You can go stealth or guns blazing. When you talk to people you have choices in how you respond and based on what you do it influences the game. I enjoyed the computer hacking but the lockpicking was a little difficult. Enemy artificial intelligence can sometimes be on the silly side. Overall, the gameplay is fun and gets better as you gain more experience, but some elements need some fine tuning.

Sound: I wasn't greatly impressed with the sound in the game. However, the music fits the tone and mood most of the time. One boss battle played a wonderful 80s tune!

Graphics: The graphics are second rate no doubt about it. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's the way the engine works, and the graphics couldn't keep up. It seems to me that with modern technology the graphics should never be this subpar. The graphics are not horrible, but clearly are not on level with next generation technology.

Value: The game is not that long, but it doesn't feel too short. With all the customization you can play this game multiple times, and not play the same game. You can choose multiple paths to take, and your choices really do affect how the game is played. I feel that most games are not worth 60$, but it is something we have to live with.

Conclusion: The game is fun to play! It deserves better than a 6. I recommend the game if you like RPGs.
