Alpha Protocol is one of those games that had so much potential but fell flat.
Presentation: The best thing about Alpha Protocol is the story, it's amazing and you'll love it from beginning to end but everything else seems to disappoint in comparison. The customization isn't even that great.
Gameplay: There's so many bugs that you think you'll get used to it all but then something happens like enemies disappearing from the map and you feel like you bought the worst game until you progress more through the story and remember why you bought it. The stealth is broken as enemies either know where you are or don't know you're in front of them. And you can run through the whole game with nothing but a pistol, using anything else is pointless.
Graphics: Not the greatest looking game utilizing Unreal Engine, Too Human looks better and Alpha Protocol is the more recent game. But there are a lot of other games that look worse than Alpha Protocol.
Sound: The voice acting is great, and the music soundtrack is decent. Beyond that, there's nothing to to be said about sound.
Lasting Appeal: Achievements, weapon upgrades, multiple character reactions and lines that you haven't heard and other game outcomes yet to be seen would be the reason to play this game again. Plus there are likely some bugs you haven't seen yet, and in Alpha Protocol, there's more glitches to discover.
