Its funny how I came to finally download this game, tonight. I have always been a fan of Sci-Fi shooters, like DOOM 3, Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Riddick, and well, the list goes on. So, I rarely come across a real-time game, that interests me. Unless its WW2. But, I think its time for something fresh. Anyway, I decided to filter through a ton of action games, since 2001, since thats when games really started to be eye candy. Well, I decided to check out some real-time games, too. American Army was one of them. So, I downloaded it to check it out. I haven't really played the game much, yet. Heck, I just went through the first basic training. Now I am registered, to play even more. I am sure this game is going to be great, as there is already a number of great reviews. Also, being a shooter fan helps. Ill have to get into the habit that this is no sci-fi game, though. So, before I bore you do death, LOL. Here is what I thought of the game. Gameplay: So far, so good. A great combat simulation Graphics: Graphics are slightly dated, but in my area of interest. Its no DOOM 3 Sound: Great sound. I felt like I was there. Value: For a free game, even if it wasnt, it's worth your time. Its sure to keep me going for a while. I have a million of other players to catch up with.
