Burnt Toast
Going into Amnesia, the idea of having to evade the enemies (run and hide) made the game sound promising. Unfortuately you will probably get frustrated a lot more than scared. The enemies will chase you, but often into a room you just came from, nullifying the frantic search for a good hiding spot.
Puzzles can be fun but If you arn't really into puzzles you can forget about enjoying this game because this game s ful of them.
My main gripe with this game is the story, pacing and the dialogue. A few too many if you ask me. The narration is way overdone, to the point where almost every adjective that the main character says is accented. The story itself is way overdone and from the beggining all believeability is thrown out the window.
The ending is even less satisfying. In fact, I might say it was the worst ending I have ever seen in a game if I hadn't already played Glover for the N64.
If you just want to be scared, childishly, then by all means buy this game for the cheap price.
Don't expect any sophistication, which is a real "pity".
