Fun, but VERY HARD!
Angry Birds is an interesting concept. The idea of this game is to kill pigs by flinging birds at structures. The material the structures are made of can be hit, which will knock down the structure and crush the pigs. So it's like Boom Blox in 2D.
Each bird has a different ability. For example, some will split in three different directions, some explode, and some drop bombs. These abilities will work if you tap the screen. Then the bird will use it's special ability.
In each level, you get a certain amount of birds and you have to kill all the pigs using said birds. If you successfully kill them all in a level, you get graded from 1 to 3 stars based on how you did.
Some of the pigs have helmets which will protect them from being crushed, so you will have to hit them more that once.
The graphics look nice and colorful. This is a game that will give you some the iPhone's best graphics.
The controls work fine. All you have to do is pull back on the slingshot and let go for the bird to be shot.
The game is really hard, since you will take a lot of time to beat levels since the game won't give you much hints. Also sometimes they won't give you enough birds. Grrr.
The Verdict!
Angry Birds is a fun game. Although it is very hard, it is very rewarding and fun. It only costs a dollar, so you will get more than your money's worth. So I think it is worth a purchase.
