Think of it as New Play Control Animal Crossing City Folk.

Animal Crossing City Folk really doesn't bring anything new to the game. You can now visit the city, but even that is limited. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as many of the game series' old aspects have returned to the game. While there isn't much about this game that separates it from the others, it is still a pretty addictive game.

The game maintains the same simple, cartoon-ish style of the previous games. The same music from past games returns here as well. While the music is good, it was sometimes bothersome to here the same track loop over and over. However, I always love going to the museum on Saturdays to listen to K.K. Slider. Controls for this game are kept simple and effective.

The Animal Crossing series has barely changed over the years. While I expected this to prevent the game from being any good, it was surprisingly still as addictive as the other two games in the series. Nothing much has changed in the Animal Crossing world and while sometimes that makes the game a little boring, overall the game is still as addictive as ever.
