When people look at ports. They tend to think, "I already have the console version. While should I get some watered down handheld version?" That's when you're wrong. This is not just some port with everything intact. Some may not even consider it a port. It's a fresh new game with a whole new meaning. With over 600 new items to collect. Brand new characters, and even more places to visit. This game is everything you ever wanted from a 'port'. The biggest factor is the addition of Online Play. Not only can you visit distant friends. You can receive exclusive items, and buy stuff from others. Of course, there are some downsides. The biggest (to some) is the exclusion of NES Games. I don't find this a problem but others might. Other than that, everything is perfect. No longer must you use the D-Pad to write letters. Writing letters is almost as easy as typing on a keyboard. Port? Maybe. Spectacular game? Of course.
