You can't go wrong with Animal Crossing, unless you hate simulation games.

True, it started as an N64 game that was eventually ported to the Cube, but the characters are so cute and the world is so addictive.

If you don't like simulators, this game isn't really for you. You spend a lot of your time running errands, catching fish and bugs, planting trees and plants, and decorating your house. If this sounds silly, it is. It also eventually wears thin, which is why I cannot rate this game any higher.

While it lasts, it is great to pick up the game every few weeks and pick all of the weeds that have grown, see who has left your town and who has moved in.
