A great game. It's so addictive I never thought I would put the controller down!

This game is great! It has so much replay value and it has an enthralling effect that just sucks you right into the game. I really thought I would play this game forever, but I finally managed to tear myself away from it. I still play it from time to time. In it you have the ability to buy a house and expand on it and make it bigger. As you do this you have the ability to purchase, find, or trade for items for your home. Items such as, funiture, trophies, TVs, stuff you never thought should go into a house, and even old-school NES games! You also get the ability to interact with all the townspeople around the town. Some may like others may just plain hate you and some might just not care. They have a simple schedule plot in them that's easy to figure out so you can find them easier. There are also many events that take place in the town that you can participate in. These events happen at certain times of the season and will offer rewards to you sometimes, you just have to know where to look.
Graphics wise, Animal crossing isn't that great compared to what it could have been on the GC. The game was originally built for the N64 though so that makes sense. It still has lots to offer with it's moderate effects. The environment is very crisp and brilliant though.
It is truly a must have if you love the ability to customize houses and do almost everything you ever wanted to do in real life that you never could or couldn't find the time to.
