Unique game that can be played for a long time.
Animal Crossing is game where you live in a town with neighbors to interact with and a house to decorate. There is no combat so if your looking for that then stay away. The main thing to do is collect furniture, wallpaper, and flooring for your house which can starts off small but can be upgraded as you play. You are alos rated as to how you decorate your house, and this is done buy matching furniture, wallpaper, and flooriing to complete sets,and themes, so If you have a playroom wall then you are looking to get playroom furniture and a playroom floor to go with it. This is where the gameplay comes in as there are various ways to obtain said furniture. For starters you can interact with neighbors as they will sometimes give you jobs to do and in exchange reward you with an item. There is also a store in town which has various items every day. There are different thing to do collect then just furnitrue also, you can go fishing, collect insects, go digging, chop down trees, plant trees, plant flowers, mail items to your neihbors, and so on. The game clocks itself based on real time so if it's five pm in real time then it's five pm in animal crossing. This is where one of my complaints comes in, as the game for whatever reasons treats the player as if they are a kid, and by this I mean when i'm playing at three in the morning not only can I not talk to anyone because they are sleeping, but if I do talk to someone say before they go to sleep or if i'm lucky and find someone awake, I get a lecture about how I should be in bed. All in all animal crossing is a great game that can be played with up to three other people in the same town, a total of four, just not at the same time and it can be played for months if not years on end as there are a plethora of items to collect, but just don't count on it being a game that fills the day because there is only so much to do before you have to turn it off and wait for the next day (real time) to come along.
