Another world was an outstanding game at the time, mixing smooth graphics with immersive gameplay. You control a guy called Lester, who is propelled into a parallel universe following an accident. He wakes in a strange land and its your mission to guide Lester to find a way home. Excellent use of cut scenes gave the game a cinematic feel, drawing the player further in. Other games later copied this style leading to most noticeably Flashback (another excellent game!). The game was called Out Of This World in the U.S. Simple controls didn't hinder the characters involvement with his environment, which for the most part was the case in other games of the era. I'm sure many many people will remember playing this game, despite its age.
