Do not waste your money on this game...

User Rating: 3 | APB (All Points Bulletin) PC
All Points Bulletin is a cops and robbers style "MMO", that involves two factions, the Criminals and Enforcers, trying to regain control of the city San Paro. Let me start off by saying that if you do not have the RECOMMENDED system requirements, do not bother playing. That should speak for itself, but there has been a lot of complaining in the forums about laggy gameplay.

As I said before, the objective of this game is to complete missions for your faction, while engaging is PvP at the same time. One can either go solo or join a group of 4 and complete missions. The choice is entirely up to you. After each mission, you player gains prestige if on the enforcer side, and notoriety if on the criminal side. As you move up in the ranks, new vehicle, weapons, and equipment become available to you. That's about it for the plot....

I'm sorry, but anyone who says they have fun doing the missions that this game offers gets entertained very easily. Each mission is exactly the same. Once I even did the same mission for the same NPC three times in a row. Yes, THREE TIMES. I was completely blown away that the developers just couldn't throw a little variety in there. Unbelievable.

The one good thing about this game is the customization. I am usually not that creative, but found myself spending a decent amount of time painting my car, or designing my own theme song. Now don't get too excited, because that is about the only thing the game has going for it.

New players cannot catch a break while starting missions for the first time. They are immediately thrown to the dogs and matched against higher level players with very powerful weapons that can kill you before you can get a shot off. If a player is lucky enough to actually kill a higher level player, the next stage of the mission starts, and you need to face the EXACT same player.... great.

The game-play is just mediocre. Driving makes me sick.... not kidding. Also, if you are an Enforcer, have fun trying to gain prestige. Every time you kill a civilian, you lose some points. That may sound straight forward, but the civilians just run right out in front of your car! How are we supposed to avoid that? The game will either get boring after about 5 hours or so frustrating that you throw your game disc across the room.

The gun sounds are awful, and I can't have the siren on for more than 30 seconds without getting a headache. The graphics are just meh... not too bad, but certainly not too good either...

Overall, this game is bad, but I gave it a 3/10 just because of the fantastic customization. For your own sake, take this game off the shelves and put it in the trash, where it belongs.

Machs gut!
