Can't find a reason to purchase an additional month.

User Rating: 6 | APB (All Points Bulletin) PC
I've played this game now for almost the entire 50 hours of free time they give you in "action" distrcits and am now on my last hour or two. Even though I've had a decent time with game, I cannot talk myself into purchasing another month for about $10.

Every part or section of this game has something that should of been made better. I really don't want to just complain the entire time so I'll keep this discussion into sections.

::STORY::

It's pretty non exsistant. You play for "Contacts' which give you randomized missions to pull off and in return you earn standing with them and their faction. After so much standing with a contact a new one is unlocked, the process is repeated.

::GUNPLAY::

This part of the game is ridiculously unbalanced. If you dont have the right gun for the job, you'll have almost a gaurenteed lose. Guns can be equiped with "MODS" which give them an unfair advantaged against people that dont have them or can't use them.

::DRIVING::

There is a sort of pause after each button press in driving. This pause can be predicted as you get more expereinced with driving. Although this pause with any kind of lagging will cause you to crash into cars, fail on ramp attempts and completely miss an enemy you meant to run over. I suggest let a friend drive that has a better internet connection to keep the crashes to a minimum.

::UNLOCKS::

There is a steady amount of gun and clothing unlocks available as you play. You'll also unlock the "MODS" I was talking about earlier for your character, weapon and vehicle. The higher level you are the more slots you'll have available. The biggest problem that I've had are the vehicle unlocks which are unlabeled, which means you'll never know exactky how to get them until you randomly unlock them, or ask someone that knows. You can also BUY ALMOST ANYTHING YOU WANT with no experience at all. If you pour your own, real life money into this game you can have pretty much whatever you want, which seems unfair and makes me think RealTime Worlds don't understand the idea of progression.

::MATCHMAKING::

This is the worst part of this game. You may be a level 90 or so with another mid-low level friend of yours and the game will decide it's fair to place you against 2-3 level 200+'s. In doing this your competition will have ... better guns, better mods, better characters, better cars and more experience. Which makes for VERY unejoyable gameplay.

::CUSTOMIZATION::

This is the only thing that keeps the game from falling under a 5 rating. Very good character and vehicle customization makes you feel as if u can express yourself and have every one know your style. Although, this can make for some pretty offensive stuff (Swasticas, obscene words, nudity, etc.).

::OVERALL::

The only way this game has a chance to survive another couple of months is if it turns into a free to play MMO with micro transactions to keep players paying.
