Ape escape : On the Loose , is kinda of a recreation to the classic Ape escape of the for the ps1 ( which was an instant smash ) . The game takes place of course in planet earth . Howerver in the game you vivist other places that aren't excactly planet earth , and the white fur ape has thrown 100 apes over different places , so its your task to catch em' all ( pokemon ) . In this game you take the role of a kid named spike . I guess he is called like that because of his spikey hair . I like the graphics in this game . In fact I think the grahics are the best part of this game is by far the graphics . I like how the character animations are builted up . Now they dont look spectacular , but for a handheld I mean it just couldnt get any better . The character's look so detailed and I like how they look . Suprisenlly there are no glitches in this game in terms of the graphics which I found very good . The enviornemts are so good and the water effects i found better than most games ive seen on consoles ( im not kidding , well at least first generation ) . But a downside is that i found them a little bit child like , thus for me they weren't great , but they are still good . The music on ape : escape is well kinda good , but it's got that kidie music which matches perfectly with the game , but still its kinda ... well how can I put it not my type . Im mostly into like classical music and so . ( in games not in real life ) . One of the best things that I loved in this game that i had never seen on any portible system is yes voice overs . Ok so they are kinda not thzt great , but you can't judge it by that , I mean how many portible games have you seen with voice overs ? Not many right . This game has a cool story to it , not innovative or immersive , but it clicks with the game . During the game you will collect different objects to help you in this game . But the main one you will be using is the time net . The time net will help you catch those apes . So its got some redimable parts over all you get wi-fi play wich gives the game some interesting parts , and you got ass well some mini games . All of that are good bonsuses , thought they are all good the gameplay isnt that great . The game gets kinda repetitive sometimes and you'll be doing the same things over and over again . Every mission is the same . You go out and you try to catch some apes . While the environemts change and so do the dufficutly and the apes themselves , but youll be having to do the same missions . Catch apes !!! . Ape escape : On the Loose is really a good game and you should rent or pick it up .
