Bad remake but still okay.

This game was worse than I expected. The controls weren't that great and the voiceovers were bad. I always loved the PS1 version and I thought I would be able to play it again in the PSP version but guess what this is nothing compared to the original. However, it is still a fun little game if you ignore the flaws (which isn't so hard after you get use to it).

If you never played the original and never get it this is worth a shot, otherwise don't get it if you want a game with the same Spike you know and other characters as the PS1 version. I got it for only like $10 and it was worth the price overall.

Only if you never played the original, it's a really good game. Even the easiest monkeys to get are so hard to catch when you first play it, but then it gets really easy. Trust me, if I were you, I would just buy the first ape escape for the ps1 from ebay or something. It's more well worth it than buying this game. The creators of this game did a successful job in stripping a legendary game down but if just want fun then this is a game you should try out.
