3D platformer with a difference!

Ape Escape is a 3D platformer on the Playstation and could be one of the most fun platformer games available on this console. The good thing about platform games on other consoles than Nintendo is that they aren't total copies of Mario games. However to me this game is much better than any N64 Mario game!

What do you have to do in the game exactly? Catch monkeys! It's certainly a lot more fun than catching ghosts with a vaccuum cleaner in Gamecube's Luigi's Mansion! You have 20 levels and you have to collect all the monkeys within the allocated time to proceed to the next level.

The game's graphics aren't really that impressive, however they do the game justice and are beuatifully cute. The levels are detailed however, and very colourful.

The game makes players use both analog sticks. The left stick for movement and the right to control your comical gadgetry. The background music is nothing special however it does the game justice enough and adds to the fun!

Seeing as it's a PS1 game, its certainly cheap and worth every dollar! Or maybe get the next Ape Escape game coming out whenever the PS3 comes out!
